Deutsch lernen (A1): Ganzer Film auf Deutsch - "Nicos Weg" is a film that has an educational purpose that teach us by  Look, listen, learn with video  as well as dialog situations to help solidify and expand knowledge and vocabulary. This film is uploaded on youtube by Deutsch lernen mit der DW, the duration is one hour and forty three minutes long.

This Film is tell us about a man named Nicos Weg , who travelled to Germany from Spain  , to look for his aunt , it started when Nico arrive at the airport , he accidently leave his bag at the taxi that he rode before, and suddenly a little girl named Emma that he met before and her Aunt Lisa, want to helped him out. Then Nico, Emma and Lisa started to known each other well.

Nico really confused, he lost his aunt address, telephone number and his passport, so Lisa decided to takes him to her shared apartment. In the apartment Lisa introduced Nico to her friend Nina and Sebastian. There is also Nawin,  Lisa’s friend who want to move out from the apartment in short time, therefore they held a farewell party together.

In the party, Sebastian helped Nico looking for his aunt Yara by posting Yara’s picture on social media, and after a few minute finally someone has commented on the post about Yara’s bike shop address.

Tomorrow morning, Lisa promise to Nico that she will take Nico to Yara’s bike shop, after she finished her class as a Deutch-English teacher. But when they were walking toward the Bike Shop they realize, that there was no bike shop at the address given earlier. But then Lisa asking his father who is work as a police man to find the right Bike Shop address. Within short time, while Nico in the café with his new friend Max and Tarek who is the owner of the café, Lisa’s father finally found Yara’s shop address.

Finally, in the end when Max and Nico went to Yara’s shop to repaired Max’s bike, he met Yara.

In my opinion this movie is really great for someone who are interested in learning Germany, like us. The story is not making us bored. This movie really focuses on the dialog situations which already simplified to expand our knowledge and vocabulary in learning Deutch.

In this movie we can potition ourselves as Nico, he is a foreigner that is not fluent in speaking Deutsch. Like for example on minute 05:22 Lisa teaches Nico how to introduce him self  “ich heiße Nico” which means my name is Nico. This movie is also teach a lot of things about German, while Nico is foreigner in German, so he tried to learn a lot of thing about German, like it’s culture, habits and the most important thing is the language, Deutch.

From this film I learns how to introduce our self, how to greet people, how to offering other people some drinks or foods, and other basic dialogs that we use in every single day in Deutch.

I also learn how to count one to twelve, name of fruits, name of furniture and different ways how to say goodbye in very simple, fun and interesting ways.
